This review is long overdue. I bought a 13-reg Passat Estate back in October 2024. The buying process was very straightforward, and Steve allowed me plenty of time to inspect the vehicle and test drive it on a couple of occasions.There was a slight issue with the tyres and battery, but he had them sorted at no cost to me.My car recently went in for its MOT and, incredibly, came back with no faults or even advisories — which is very unusual for a 13-year-old car. This is a testament to the quality of the used cars these guys buy and sell, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them in the future.The used car market can be a minefield, even for experienced buyers, so it’s great to see there are still honest and reputable traders like these around.

I bought a used Skoda Kodiaq from Wellington Street Car sales about two months ago.

I started with a mail to them, asking a couple of questons.

Steve responded promptly and gave me very precise and accurate information.He also gave directive to the garage that had been maintaining the car, for the answers he did not have.

His response made me book a viewing and drove 40 mins to see the car.

Steve was polite, professional and gave attention to all the customers present.

The brake faults we detected in the car during test drive, was mentioned to him. He promised to fix it, get an MOT and service the car.

All these were satisfactorily done and within the promised time.

Purchase transaction was quick and smooth.

I got a 3 months warranty.

I have called once on an issue and he responded and told me what to do.

I am very please with the car performance in the last two months.

Steve was really friendly and genuine. Made purchasing a new car and part ex our old one really easy. No pressure selling whatsoever!

We recently bought a car from this garage and found the service friendly and did not feel pressured to purchase which made a nice change. We had the standard three month warranty on the car. As with any cars things can occasionally go wrong through no fault of the garage. We did experience a minor issue a few weeks after purchasing the car and Steve was more than happy to take the car and have it fixed, he also provided us with a courtesy car in the meantime. Steve ensured that the car was fixed as quickly as possible and returned to us and he didn't once make us feel like we were an inconvenience. Just a genuinely nice person to deal with and I would definitely recommend this garage to friends and family in the future, thank you.

I recently bought a used Nissan Qashqai from Wellington Street Car Sales, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The team made the car pickup process smooth and hassle-free, and I drove away very happy.

A little while after, I noticed an oil leak with the car. I reached out to Steve, and I have to say — the service was absolutely top-notch. Not only did he get the issue sorted under warranty without any fuss, but he also went the extra mile and made sure the timing job was done on the car as well. It’s rare to find a dealership that genuinely cares about their customers after the sale is done, but Steve and the team really do.

If Google would let me, I’d give 10 stars instead of 5. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable car and great aftercare service.

Amazing place!!
My mum, me and my fiancé all got cars from Steve. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My mum has volvo from this place for 3 years now and all perfectly fine, small wear and tear but nothing serious. I got my fiat 500 just over a year ago and we just came back for another car! You can bet next time I fancy a change I will be back at Wellington’s to choose my next car!
You can count on those guys with sale from beginning till the end, helpful, kind, polite and respectful.
