Bought a Ford Fiesta from Wellington Street Car Sales and must say I have been extremely disappointed. The car was presenting dangerous issues soon after purchase. We had to get the drums, wheel cylinder, brake shoes and bearings all replaced within a few months of purchase and limited use. Ended costing us £680 in remedial to get the car back on the road - car shouldn’t have frankly been sold. It wasn’t serviced prior to purchase - I had to get it serviced myself (has £100 or so knocked off the price) but if upon the servicing they had reported the above issues. Therefore if a proper PDI was carried out, the car working have been put on for sale. Very disappointed - not expected from these guys.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, sorry you have not been satisfied with the car but as we explained when you reported the issue you purchased the car in November 2023 and did not report these issues to us until May 2024, when we questioned why you had not reported it sooner we were told the car had been left sat on a drive way for the best part of 6 months and not used. Most cars would have break issues if they have been left to stand for this amount of time let alone a car that is 17 years old. Out of the 100's vehicles we sell each year we have a great reputation and feel we are very fair when people report any issues. On this occasion we have to put the issues down to wear and tear on a 17 year old vehicle and the fact it was left standing for so long.

Could not recommend this place enough. Great selection of cars at great prices. As others have already said, no pressure, no following you around. All the cars where open and you are free to look around without any hassle or bother and the guys at Wellington are more than happy to answer any queries that you may have. I knew exactly what car I was going to see (ix35) and found it to be clean and tidy to a very high standard - came with a new mot and apparently it originally failed as 2 tyres where low in tread, the guys at Wellington out 2 brand new tyres on without any fuss. Friendly people here at Wellington, was terrified at the prospect of finding a decent used car but I had absolutely no worries once I had seen the car, did a test drive and spoke to the guys at the lot. Would definitely come here for my next car - although with how good this has been prepared I'm not expecting that to be for a few years haha. Brilliant place, brilliant people and brilliant, honest cars.

Steve was totally amazing!!! We came over from Crosby, Liverpool and he was so helpful and trustworthy he answered all our questions and helped us with our purchase. We part exchanged our old car and bought a 2017 car which is fabulous. Unbelievable professional service from Steve who is such a lovely guy and we also have to say a huge thank you to Julian who again really helped us complete our purchase. We will recommend this garage to our families and friends and will definitely buy from Steve again. We love our new car!!!! A huge big thank you guys!!!!
